Can I play MW4 multiplayer early?
Campaign Early Access started October 16 for ALL pre-orders — every edition, including Standard — covering the Campaign and DMZ. Multiplayer itself is NOT in early access: it unlocks globally on October 23. See the early access guide for details.
Is MW4 multiplayer free to play?
No. MW4 multiplayer is part of the full paid game ($69.99 Standard / $99.99 Vault / $129.99 Pro). MW4 is on Game Pass day one on Xbox. PlayStation players need PS Plus for online multiplayer; PC has no subscription.
Does MW4 have crossplay?
Yes, crossplay between PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 is on by default, and you can disable it in the settings menu. Our best settings page walks through turning crossplay off on each platform.
